Janet R. Martin is an award-winning vocalist, songwriter, and Nashville recording artist whose music bridges heartfelt country storytelling with faith-filled depth and authenticity. An Air Force veteran and four-time national winner and performer at the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival, Janet brings a grounded presence and emotional connection to every performance, resonating with audiences across both country and faith-based platforms.

Her career includes sharing the stage with and opening for some of country music’s most respected artists, including Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker, Tracy Byrd, Tracy Lawrence, and Neal McCoy, as well as performing alongside the legendary Mickey Gilley. Janet’s versatility and professionalism have taken her from intimate listening rooms and churches to large venues and iconic stages, including a recent performance at Carnegie Hall.

Janet’s original music is rooted in country and gospel, shaped by a lifetime of performing across genres and formats—from choirs and big bands to dynamic solo performances. She has recorded music throughout the country, including Nashville, Alaska, St. Louis, New Orleans, Mobile (AL), and New Mexico, developing a sound that is both polished and deeply personal.

Currently, Janet is preparing the release of a new faith-based album centered on themes of grace, prayer, and redemption, featuring songs such as “I’ll Pray,” “You Chose Me,” “Run to the Father,” and “Crazy ’bout Jesus.” This project reflects her heart for storytelling, her country roots, and her commitment to creating music that encourages, uplifts, and connects—making her a natural fit for both country and faith-based stages.
